We are very excited to invite you to the fourth edition of 202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit, which will take place from 5 - 7 September, 2022, at the Colosseum, Berlin. This year’s theme is "Fashion for Positive Impact: Regenerative Transformation," and the focus of the summit’s extensive program will be on how changing the fashion industry can lead to a healthy, viable future for all – and how we can begin taking these steps today.

Participating speakers will discuss new directions: how can traditional methods, such as regenerative agriculture, be combined with novel technical solutions? How do we collaborate pre-competitively? What do future consumer cultures look like?

The 202030 Summit will consist of two parts.

The Pop Up Think Tank: an open space for constructively-critical debates between experts in order to prepare the public summit’s quality content and clear messages, which is not open to public.

The Summit: the main professional public part of the 202030 Summit and aims to open up the dialogue to a broader industry audience by offering compact and clear constructive input.

Why ?

The 2020s are destined to become the decade of global change-making. They accompany and co-create the development of the ‘grass-root’ sustainability scene on its transformation to a market-leading sustainability sector within the fashion and textile industry. Berlin is aiming to refocus on its roots as the European capital of cultural and creative industries and continues to focus on a sustainable future with a better-than-ever cross-disciplinary and cultural approach to celebrating fashion and the people involved.

Parallel to the conference, the Summit features curated exhibitions. Doesn't that sound exciting? We’re looking forward to joining this summit from now on.

The Dutch initiative All Good will present a textile exhibition on exciting, novel solutions to material production. The featured projects exemplify interdisciplinary discourse in the industry and range in focus from scientific analysis and studies to practical implementation.

This September, Estethica debuts in Berlin, curated by Orsola de Castro, and is a follow-up from the successful Fashion Open Studio program. The exhibition “Esthetica Rooms” is art directed by Matthew Needham, celebrating the craft, the commitment, and the ethos of the new generation of sustainable designers.

The conference will host over 50 international speakers, who will partake in panel discussions, interviews, and keynote presentations. Accompanying features include a diverse program of masterclasses, evening events, and networking opportunities.

202030 - The Berlin Fashion Summit is primarily aimed at a fashion industry audience, but also warmly welcomes the professional public. Therefore, despite your passions and industries' preferences, you’ll be delighted by so much regenerative culture and progress. We at Staiy will be there and look forward to accompanying you through this exciting journey!
