1.
Promote small sustainable brands
"Sustainability doesn't have to be difficult; it can be as simple as buying from a company that guarantees its products so you don't have to pay for them again if something goes wrong," says Tom Cridland, a designer known for his 30-year sweaters.
"We manufacture clothing that come with a three-decade repair or replacement guarantee. They're wardrobe pillars that don't go out of style and never go out of style." It's always a good idea to do some research and look for brands like Staiy that may assist you in embracing your unique style.
2.
Learn to repair old clothes and make them unique
"Most of us don't think about fixing a pair of ripped jeans or a jacket sleeve that's been nibbled at by moths," explains Clothes Doctor creator Lucinda O'Connor.
Make an appointment with a local seamstress or dry cleaner, or utilise an online service like the Clothes Doctor, which will collect and restore your damaged clothing.
Or better yet, create your own style! Learn to sew and create new patterns using embroidery, crochet and knitting to create fun unique styles that become your own personal brand.

3.
Choose and create timeless looks
Fast fashion has led to the rise in using clothes for a short period of time and then just discarding them away, simply because they are not in trend anymore.
Instead of embracing new trends and overflowing your wardrobe, opt for unique timeless pieces that will stand the test of time.
One thing that always helps to make sure that your clothes are unique is to ensure that you are choosing clothes and styles that look good on you instead of buying clothes just because they are in trend.
