Paris-based vintage fashion influencer Juny Breeze is making strides in the world of sustainable fashion. Growing up, Breeze was inspired by her mother’s mid-20th century fashion icons, Sophia Lorien and Faten Hamama, as well as her Egyptian and Moroccan heritage. Today, she couples modern fashion with vintage pieces influenced by different cultures and styles to create the perfect sustainable summer looks. 

As she told Vogue France, her style is “simple clothing with nice fits and not predominantly extravagant.” Much of her overall style is motivated by a blend of Mediterranean fashion and vintage pieces. In the summer, Breeze often opts for fitted, sophisticated pieces that are comfortable but versatile. Her ideal style can be seen in her range of jackets, bags and other accessories that are suitable for any occasion. 

Breeze’s passion behind JBV is obvious in the shop’s slogan: “Selected with love, from Paris to the world.” She is furthering fashion and the circular economy by finding beautiful vintage pieces in and around Paris and making them available for the world to enjoy.

When it comes to sustainable summer fashion, Breeze has a simple approach for looking elegant, feeling comfortable and oozing confidence all-day long. “A black ’80s oversized blazer (with oversized shoulders), worn with a black cotton T-shirt, a light pair of vintage jeans and boots, and when the day turns into night, […] swap the boots for heels for a sophisticated evening look,” she says.
