Swimming

Swimming is a great way to get in some low-impact cardio, while staying cool during those warm summer days. Swimming is a full body workout and is also a workout without the sweat, which is the best part about swimming! It is also a lot easier on your joints than running and help improve breath control and lung capacity as well as cardio endurance and muscle toning. 



Paddle Boarding 

Paddle boarding is also a great full-body exercise that builds both strength and endurance, but it’s still a rather low-intensity and low-impact activity. Plus, who wouldn't want to be out on the water during those warm, mesmerizing summer days. You can easily hop off and go for a nice swim or just relax and sit on your board as well!

Beach Volleyball

Beach volleyball can also be a fun way to exercise under the sun during the summer with friends. It’s a great full body workout. It’s not the best cardio workout, but you will definitely build muscle and tone your legs, arms, and core. Beach volleyball, which is played on the sand, also burns a lot more calories than indoor volleyball

Furthermore, when it comes to the physical aspect of yoga, it is known for improving core strength and flexibility.

Beach Running



Walking is always nice and enjoyable, and walking or running on a beach is a great form of exercise. It is harder to walk on sand than on a smoother and more stable surface, so you burn more calories when you walk or run on the beach. Plus, as you are burning those calories, you can also enjoy nature and listen to the waves crashing ashore. 


Gardening 


Now it may not be the first thing to come to mind when thinking about exercise, but gardening can also be a fun way to stay active! Maybe this summer your exercise activity can be digging and planting your own garden! Gardening is not only beneficial to the environment but it’s also a relaxing way to improve both your physical and mental wellbeing. Plus, you may get some healthy and fresh produce out of this activity as well!
