Description
Sphere objects are mouth-blown at over 1000 °C and shaped by master glassblowers in the Czech Republic. Blown from a full glass sphere, this collection of mouth-blown pieces uses the traditional technique of double-walled glass making.The bowl is handmade by heating half of the sphere and inhaling its air. Combined with a cylindrical base, the bowl seems to float weightlessly above the ground.Designed by Milena Kling, each object in the Sphere family consists of two parts that interact with each other in a finely tuned selection of shades.
