INSPIRATION

The idea to make this shirt came from the stories of one of Petri's founders' great-grandfather about the New York of yesteryear that were passed down through his family. Thus the desire to recreate the real oxford button down shirt of the past returning to this iconic shirt its original strength, simplicity and elegance. Hence the name Broadway: a reference to the eccentric and unique character of one of the most famous streets in Manhattan.

FABRIC DESCRIPTION

The Oxford is created with pure cotton yarns, which to the eye give the effect of a "basket" hindrance. This game is enhanced by the use of thinner and colored threads for the warp and a thick and soft weft thread, white in color. This is how the shirt takes on the typical dotted look.

It was born in Scotland in the nineteenth century, more precisely in a Scottish factory that decided to name its four types of fabrics as the most prestigious university institutions of the time: Harvard, Cambridge, Yale and Oxford.

WASH

Wash the shirt at 30 degrees.
